Seth’s family lives in southern Utah, and since it’s only a few hours drive, we try to make it down to visit them every few months. It’s a nice way for us to get a little bit of a break, and I genuinely like road trips! Bastian looooves the chance to see his grandparents. A few weeks ago, we found ourselves in St. George, and stayed the weekend at The Inn At Entrada.
Entrada is my absolute favorite place to stay when we are visiting Seth’s family. Traveling with a toddler can be really hard. It’s difficult to stay with family because we take up a lot of space, but I worry about hotels because the nature of having a toddler is that they make a lot of noise. At Entrada, you get an entire casita to yourselves. So it’s like an Airbnb with the touch of a resort, so you get the best of both worlds.
We brought Ash along with us, and had so much fun hiking and eating complimentary cinnamon rolls and honestly just getting a much needed break.
Going down to St. George always feels kinda like a staycation for me. It’s not that far from us(like a 3.5 hour drive) so we can make it quick, but it’s a change of scenery and its just what I needed. Bastian does so good on car rides(he didn’t cry once the entire drive down), so it was the perfect little weekend getaway!
