Newborn Photography with Camera Shy

Bastian is three weeks old now, and it’s crazy to me how much he’s grown! He’s still so tiny and small, but I look back at the newborn photos we had taken when he was a week old, and he seems so much bigger now.

I’m so excited to see him grow, but I also desperately want him to stay my tiny little baby forever.

Camera Shy did our Maternity Photos and our Birth Story, and so we went to them for Bastian’s newborn photos too.

I know a lot of people that think that getting professional photos done is a waste of time and money, whether it’s for Maternity photos, newborn, or really any milestone. I can’t disagree more, though. Yes, I take hundreds of photos of my baby every day on my phone. And while they’re adorable(at least I think they are, because I’m highly biased), they aren’t the kind of photo that I’m going to get printed to put on my wall.

I love having this stage of his life captured in such beautiful photos. Being able to see him grow is so much fun, but I don’t want to ever forget how tiny his toes are, how cute it is when he sticks out his tongue, or the little dimple he has in his chin.
