It’s no secret that I love brunch. Anytime friends want to hang out with us, we instantly recommend meeting for brunch. It’s my inner Leslie Knope coming out to proclaim my love for waffles and whipped cream. So obviously, when we were planning our trip to Nashville, I instantly started looking up the best brunch spots. Here are my top 4:
-Marche
This spot in East Nashville comes recommended by many bloggers, so we figured it was worth a visit. The food is delicious, but the wait to get a table is kind of long even for a Sunday morning. Marche was definitely a popular spot, and although it was good, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. I did, however, LOVE the croissant french toast that I ordered. How has that never been thought of before? How have I never had it?
-Franklin Juice
I love Acai bowls. Love love love them. Nashville is known for heavy food like barbecue, deep-fried meats, and other such things; so stopping in at Franklin Juice was super refreshing. The bowls did a great job filling us up without making us feel sleepy. We also tried one of their fresh pressed juices and it was so good! Seth says it was the best orange juice he’s ever had (Seth really loves orange juice).
-Provence Breads
This place is all about bread. The bakery cases filled with breads and pastries are just as delicious as they look. The environment here was so friendly, and the food was incredible. The French Toast I had came with a peach compote and a spiced mascarpone, and I died and went straight to heaven.
-The Terminal Cafe
This brunch spot is a literal GEM. A hidden gem, in East Nashville. Since we’ve come back we’ve had multiple people tell us how much they loved this brunch spot too and it deserves sooo much more hype. The service is incredible and friendly, and it’s some of the best brunch I’ve had. It was also, hands down, the best coffee we had in Nashville. Not to discredit the rest of the amazing coffee we had while we were there, but this was incredible.
Just in case you missed it, I also wrote a post on my very favorite cafes that we visited while we were in Nashville, you can read that post here!
